is almost upon us! I just received an e-mail from the New Zealand Movember team and yes, I’ll be participating again but will hopefully beat my previous targets that I missed out on, last year. The motivation has been set, as per the below image:
2017 will actually be my fifth year of Movember; the first year was in the UK.
Last year I set myself two goals:
- $1000 for charity
- 10,000 steps per-day for my fitness goal.
Alas, I did not beat either of these two goals; however this year I am commited to smash them!
I wrote a previous blog post on the 2016 attempt but didn’t include any photograps to update as I went along – this year I will do so!
If you have not participated in Movemeber you should, it’s great fun and participation is not just for gents, ANYONE can get involved – if you are folically challenged, then wear a fake mustache – it’s a fantastic way to raise money and awareness for many worthwhile causes.
The Movember Foundation has an official statement which is quite simple:
“Our Cause
Stop men dying too young”
Please take a moment to have a look at the main Movember webiste here: https://nz.movember.com/?home and spread the word! My previous blog post and official Movember sites are below:
